The LPunc application aims to help the engineer in the calculation, design and detailing of punching reinforcement in slabs. The application is based on the punching calculation model in slabs presented in NBR 6118:2014. According to this model, stresses and strengths are verified on critical surfaces. The application also checks the reinforcements against progressive collapse. Some of the main features of the app are:
Punching calculation and detailing in internal columns, edge columns and corner columns for rectangular and circular columns.
Detailed calculation report with the data used (u, d, K, Wp) to calculate the stresses on each of the critical surfaces.
Integrated auxiliary calculator for estimating the geometric rate of passive reinforcement.
Integrated auxiliary calculator to consider prestressing in the punching.
Possibility of saving calculation log in TXT.
Possibility of saving calculation log in TXT.
Criteria tab with several possibilities such as:
• Changing the spacing between reinforcements
• Consideration of multiple state of stresses
• Change in yield stress for stud use cases
• Changing the axis in which the non-linear effects module (Wp) is calculated in columns, among others.
