CALIFORNIA ADOPTS GREEN BUILDING CODES

This month, California was the first state to adopt a mandatory statewide green building code.  The regulations are expected to help the state meet its goal of trimming greenhouse gas emissions by 33 percent by 2020.  Read the New York Times article here.

 

 
 

EDGE OF SPACE

The New Mexico SpacePort Authority is building a $28 million, 10,000 foot long, concrete runway to be used primarily for sending passengers to the edge of space.  Read more about this cutting-edge runway here.

 

 

 
 

CIM ANNOUNCES WOC AUCTION
